For the past ten years Electric Vocuhila has been developing a singular music, powerful and voluble, inspired by various urban or ceremonial African musics, combined with an orchestration and a relationship to improvisation rooted in (free) jazz, and to a search for saturation of the sound coming from rock. We have Maxime Bobo (alto saxophone & keyboards), Arthur Delaleu (guitar), François Rosenfeld (bass) and Étienne Ziemniak (drums). Can’t wait to hear them!
