Klawo is the winning band of this year’s International Jazz in the Park Competition. A handful of youngsters from Poland, full of life and good energy, just right to fill the Ethnographic Park.
Their musical journey began in 2020 as a live band for Konstanty Kostka (one of their keyboardists), a lo-fi hip hop solo project.
Soon after, they decided to write music together, and recently released their debut LP – “Klawo”, Coastline Northern Cuts. Klawo takes its inspiration from a range of places and musical styles, including jazz, funk, hip-hop, psychedelia and afrobeat, with plenty of room for improvisation.
