Madalina was the pleasant surprise at Jazz in the Park in 2022. We chose to have her perform as the opening act for Asaf Avidan, and her concert simply made us look smart and like we knew what we were doing. She is an artist who knew how to embrace her role in the festival, with music that is both fresh and distinctly Romanian.
Madalina is the future artist of our country. We are equally grateful for her presence and proud that we can support her. We chose to have her with us at the competition because the festival in the central park is open to all, and we hope that as many people as possible will see her, discover her, and appreciate her. It will be an excellent Friday.
