Błoto is a Polish alternative jazz quartet, born spontaneously during a night off between EABS concerts. Their music is heavily influenced by hip-hop, with heavy beats, deep bass, and a raw, uncompromising sound. In just one year, the band released three albums, quickly becoming a cult name on the avant-garde jazz scene. Their latest release, Grzybnia, explores themes of collaboration and human connection — a natural continuation of the album Kwasy i zasady, which tackled ideas of polarization and social tension. Błoto sounds like the times we live in: intense, free, and alive.
This concert is part of the Poland–Romania Cultural Season 2024–2025, organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, with the support of the Polish Institute in Bucharest, the Ministry of Culture of Romania, and the Romanian Cultural Institute.
