Implant pentru Refuz is coming to Jazz in the Park to show what an acoustic show by a heavy metal band looks like, offering the audience an intimate reinterpretation of their well-known songs, with a focus on lyricism and the emotion conveyed through stripped-down instrumentation.

Founded in Timișoara in 1995, the band is known for its innovative approach to rock, hardcore, and alternative music. With over nine albums released and a 30-year career, Implant pentru Refuz stands out for its powerful social and psychological lyrics and energetic live performances, maintaining a fresh and authentic sound.

Implant pentru Refuz revealed a more intimate side of their music with the acoustic album Acustic (Live@Unirii5), recorded in 2015 in the garden of Unirii5 (Bucharest) and released in 2016. Their well-known songs: “În interior,” “Simplu și greu,” “Rezist,” “Apus,” and “Sidef”are reimagined in a stripped-down instrumental format that highlights the lyrics, structure, and emotion, offering a calmer and more personal experience than the electric versions. This live project transformed the band’s repertoire, bringing a fresh perspective to their songs and giving the audience unique moments of connection, with some versions also released as independent singles on YouTube, such as the acoustic rendition of “Apus.”
