Lisa Simone Quartet is a jazz band led vocally by Lisa Simone, an Emmy Award winner and Grammy nominee, accompanied by Hervé Samb (guitar/musical director), Reggie Washington (bass), and Sonny Troupé (drums), blending soulful melodies with R&B grooves and blues influences. Besides her musical artistry, Lisa Simone has been active on Broadway in the role of Nala in The Lion King and as an executive producer for the documentary “What Happened, Miss Simone?,” sharing her family’s story.

“All Is Well” (2014) represents the first critically acclaimed album that differentiated the soloist from her mother, Nina Simone. The album showcased her personal depth, musical quality, and authenticity apart from Nina Simone’s influence, which was present in her early tributes. The album’s sound highlighted a strong blend of soul, R&B, gospel, and jazz showcasing her distinctive voice and stage presence.
