About the artist:

Born from the energy and vision of Dima Belinski, the Transylvania Jazz Orchestra is a musical project, a living experiment where talented young musicians meet, collaborate, and reimagine jazz beyond conventions, in a space open to improvisation, dialogue, and personal artistic identity. The ensemble debuted at the 2025 Jazz in the Park festival, offering a modern and passionate artistic approach.

This time, at Jazz in the Park, they will share the stage with Ola Onabule, a British-Nigerian singer-songwriter whose unique blend of jazz, soul, pop and world music adeptly combines his African roots with his Western upbringing. He has performed at major stages and festivals worldwide, consolidating a reputation with global audiences over the past 20 years. A charismatic and sophisticated entertainer, with his own label, Rugged Ram Records, Ola possesses an emotional intensity and an unique vocal virtuosity, accompanied by poignant storytelling.

Most famous album:

Ola Onabule’s world-famous album, Point Less (2019), is a giant leap forward in Onabula’s artistic canon, boldly expressing his views on social injustice, as it affirms his place among contemporary vocalists. The tracks on the album fuse jazz, funk and elements of African, Caribbean and Brazilian bossa nova.
