Where does the festival take place?
The festival takes place in the Romulus Vuia Ethnographic Park in Cluj-Napoca, located on Tăietura Turcului Street. It’s an open-air museum featuring traditional houses, green spaces, and rolling hills.
Accessibility for people with disabilities
The park has cobbled paths and sloped areas, which may make access difficult for wheelchairs or mobility devices.

Can I buy tickets at the entrance?
Yes, both day tickets and full passes will be available at the festival entrance. However, prices on-site will be higher than online. We recommend getting your tickets in advance.
Do children have free access?
Yes, children up to 12 years old (inclusive) can enter for free, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes! The festival is pet-friendly.
All we ask is that you:
– keep your pet on a leash at all times
– clean up after them if needed
How do I get to the festival?
– By bicycle or electric scooters: we have a bicycle rack in front
– By taxi: it takes no more than 20 minutes from anywhere in Cluj
– By bus: lines 37 and 38 stop close to the park entrance. You can also take other buses that drop you off within a 10 minute walk, we recommend using Google Maps for accuracy.
Can I come by car?
Yes, but we do not recommend it.
If you do drive:
– There is a designated parking lot at the Tetarom Complex, with approximately 500 spaces. You can park anywhere around this area.
Please note: the side road near the park, the upper street, will be closed to traffic from June 6 to 8, and parking there will be prohibited.
Where can I stay if I’m coming from another city?
There is no camping area, but Cluj offers many accommodation options:
– hotels
– short-term rental apartments
– guesthouses and hostels
We recommend booking your stay early.
How can I pay at the festival?
All areas of the festival accept card payments.
Cash is also accepted, if you prefer.
What’s the weather like? What should I wear?
The festival takes place entirely outdoors. We recommend:
– comfortable footwear
– sunscreen, hat, and a reusable water bottle
– a jacket or hoodie for the cooler evenings
What items can I bring into the festival?
You are allowed to bring:
– backpacks
– prescription medication
– flags and selfie sticks
– up to 500 ml of sealed water
– reusable bottles
– umbrellas (not to be opened in front of the stage)
– blankets, hammocks, foldable chairs
– cosmetics, including SPF and deodorant
What items are NOT allowed at the festival?
You may NOT bring:
– drugs, alcohol, or outside food and drinks
– knives, blades, or any kind of weapon
– fireworks or explosives
– scooters, hoverboards, skateboards
– graffiti supplies, stickers, promotional materials
– portable speakers
– professional photo or video equipment
– drones
Is smoking allowed at the festival?
Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas.
Since the park is a heritage site with wooden structures, it is essential to follow this rule.
Smoking areas will be clearly marked on the festival map and around the venue.
What is the festival schedule?
– Friday: starting at 14:00
– Saturday and Sunday: starting at 12:00
Each evening ends at midnight (00:00).
The first 100 people to enter the park each day will receive a welcome drink.

What can I do at the festival?
Jazz in the Park is more than just music, it’s a daytime festival. Here you can find all the things you can do. Every courtyard in the park hosts something different. Or you can simply relax on the grass and take in the atmosphere.
