Rockstadt Extreme Fest and Jazz in the Park announce the launch of a joint festival pass, available in limited edition, offering full access to both events. The initiative marks the beginning of a public collaboration between two of Romania’s strongest festival brands and proposes a simple yet bold idea: musical differences can become bridges, not boundaries.
The joint pass is an invitation to explore, to stay curious, and to experiment. Audiences are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and experience two distinct energies within the same festival season, two types of communities and two different ways of living live music.
The pass can be purchased here.
About Jazz in the Park
Founded in Cluj-Napoca in 2013, Jazz in the Park is a festival dedicated to reimagining public or forgotten spaces while promoting jazz music in all its forms. The 14th edition of the festival will take place June 5–7, 2026, at the “Romulus Vuia” Ethnographic Park and promises over 40 concerts featuring artists from more than 15 countries, including Lisa Simone, Nik Bärtsch, Marcos Valle, and Venna — spanning classic jazz, funk projects, oriental jazz, and everything in between.
Over its 13-year history, Jazz in the Park has brought more than 500 artists to Cluj and has had a significant social impact. Through the Jazz in the Park Fund, organizers have donated over €100,000 to community initiatives. The festival was also the first in Romania to introduce reusable cups and currently organizes the most important competition for emerging jazz bands in this part of Europe.
The festival’s activity has earned the organizers seven finalist positions at the European Festival Awards and the “Best Small Festival in Europe” award in 2019.
Jazz in the Park has a limited capacity of 7,000 people per day and has currently sold over 3,500 passes.

A Collaboration That Speaks of Maturity
At first glance, the two festivals belong to different musical universes. At their core, however, they share the same values: respect for art, curatorial courage, and the desire to build authentic communities around live music.
The collaboration between Rockstadt Extreme Fest and Jazz in the Park sends an important message about the maturation of Romania’s festival market. In a context where competition is intense, the two brands choose dialogue and complementarity. The joint pass thus becomes the first step in a relationship that promises new forms of collaboration and creative experiences.
For audiences, the initiative is an invitation to transformation. For the industry, it is proof that strong identities do not cancel each other out — they can amplify one another when they choose to build together.
Available in limited edition, the joint pass can be purchased for 1300 RON + fees via bilete.rockstadtextremefest.ro and bilete.jazzinthepark.ro, offering an extended experience: eight days of music, culture, and complementary festival energies.
