Jazz in the Park

5-7 June 2026 | CLUJ-NAPOCA

A jazz festival at your own rhythm!

Music you won’t hear anywhere else, activities you’ve been wanting to try for a long time, and people you’ve long wanted to surround yourself with.

KEEP EXPLORING!

Here’s why Jazz in the Park is special:

Listen Jazz

Forget what you think you know about jazz. It’s not elevator music. We bring together some of the world’s best musicians, who will amaze you with what they do.

Discover the artists

We search for special artists from all corners of the world. Open your ears to something you’ve never heard before.

Experiment something creative

You won’t find photobooths here. Every experience is designed to surprise you and make you want to tell your friends about it.

Come with your family

The festival where you don’t have to leave the kids at home. A kindergarten, workshops, and an atmosphere where generations blend naturally

Try carefully selected dishes

Pop-up restaurants, carefully selected wines, and signature cocktails. The food here is just as refined as the music we bring to the stage.

A storybook location, hidden in the heart of the city

Inaugurated in 1929, the Romulus Vuia Ethnographic Park is the first open-air museum in the country, featuring over 200 authentic monuments of traditional village life.

For three days, we bring it back to life through people and music.

Jazz in the Park is how we see the world

More mindful, more caring, happier, more relaxed, more present

The festival’s mission is to promote positive values within the community through music and the arts in general. We believe in the power of example, and through this, we add value to the place we call home for three days each year.

The biggest small festival, seemingly made just for me. And the place where, year after year, I have the best time outdoors—on the grass and on the porch.

FAQ

The most frequently asked questions we receive
What can I do at Jazz in the Park?

The festival is very diverse, and it’s easy to spend many hours a day here. We have 2 main stages and 2 smaller ones hosting over 40 concerts. Beyond the concerts, you can take part in music workshops, browse creator and vinyl markets, or enjoy a meal at one of our themed pop-up restaurants. Every courtyard of the museum tells its own story. Or, if you’re not in the mood for activities, you can simply relax in the park, where it’s calm and peaceful.

How do I get to the Ethnographic Park?

Once you arrive in Cluj-Napoca, it is very easy to get to the park. You can take a taxi and get there from anywhere in no more than 20 minutes. If you prefer to come by bus, lines 37 and 38 will bring you close to the park, or you can take a bus from any neighborhood that will get you within a 5-minute walk of the park. If you choose to come by car, we have a 3,000-space parking area at the Tetarom complex, right next to the park. Still, we recommend coming on foot. That way, you get to see more of the city.

Can children attend Jazz in the Park?

Of course—we actually encourage it. Children under 12 have free access to the event, as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a ticket or pass. We also have a dedicated kids’ area, run by a local kindergarten, where you can leave your child at workshops while you head off to a concert.

Is smoking allowed within the festival grounds?

We are the only outdoor festival in Romania that restricts smoking, for safety reasons. The event takes place in a museum with many wooden and thatched structures, so precautions are necessary.

Electronic smoking devices are allowed throughout the venue, while conventional smoking is permitted only in specially designated areas. We have four such spots, all located near the stages.

Are pets allowed at the festival?

Of course. Pets are allowed, but you must follow the applicable regulations. If you’re bringing your dog, a leash is mandatory. We don’t recommend bringing animals other than dogs—while they are allowed, a festival environment can be overwhelming for some animals.

Where should I stay when I come to Cluj?

The festival does not offer camping, so we recommend booking your accommodation in advance. However, Cluj has plenty of options for every budget, from hotels and serviced apartments to private campsites and other alternatives.
