Kokoroko (stylized as KOKOROKO) is a London-based eight-piece band led by trumpeter and vocalist Sheila Maurice-Grey. Their name, inspired by the Urhobo language, means “be strong”—a message reflected in their music. With Afro-Caribbean roots, the band blends jazz with Afrobeat and hip-hop influences.
